CRG Consulting's Aboriginal Affairs practice is oriented toward economic development and property. It is highly focused on helping to bring government and business projects to successful conclusions in areas of Canada where Aboriginal rights or interests are under consideration. CRG Consulting turns potential problems into opportunities for all parties involved.
CRG Consulting’s Aboriginal Affairs program offers a fresh new look at issues. We know how to distinguish between rights and opportunities. The negotiation of Aboriginal rights, claims and grievances takes many years - even decades - to conclude. Meanwhile, business opportunities come and go and are often missed. CRG Consulting knows how to achieve short-term business and program goals in ways that take longer-term Aboriginal interests and potential rights into practical account. We know how to avoid compromising Aboriginal rights and interests along the way.
CRG Consulting is the right company for governments and businesses, including Aboriginal governments and businesses, seeking enthusiastic and committed support in the attainment of objectives that will provide economic returns and community benefits without compromising on rights or legitimate interests.
CRG Consulting Aboriginal Affairs specializes in the following distinct areas:
- Consultation services. We offer expertise to governments and businesses where reconciliation of Aboriginal interests with government program and business project proposals is necessary to achieve results.
- Negotiation services. We have the expertise to help settle claims, negotiate treaties and self-government agreements, and resolve other rights-creation or affirming initiatives.
- Opportunity creation. CRG can help all parties turn potential problems into opportunities. We offer expertise in capacity building, including in education and training, and in business development.
